(Yahoo!) - All Hollywood breakups should be this graceful.
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr, who announced their separation after three years of marriage last week, continue to model perfect post-split behavior.
In an appearance on "Katie" that airs Friday, Bloom had only kind words for the former Victoria's Secret model and the mother of his 2-year-old son, Flynn.
"We love each other, we're a family," he said. "We're going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives. There's no question for the sake of our son and everything else, we're going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn."
Bloom added, "And you know, life does't always work out exactly as we plan or hope for but fortunately we're both … we're adults. We love and care about each other and we, most of all, love our son."
The two were also seen acting affectionate on Saturday when they took Flynn for a walk through NYC's Central Park. The family outing happened just two days after the shocking news of their breakup.
"In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months," their reps told omg!. "After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation. Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
This is one time that we truly believe the amicable part!
