Chicagoan artist created Pope Francis’ Time magazine cover

Time magazine choosing Pope Francis as ‘Person of Year’ (hyperlink to the yertersday’s story) has brought much joy to the Catholic community around the world. The image of the Pope now graces the magazine cover and it was a Chicagoan artist who was assigned to create the portrait.

The artist is Jason Seiler, who spent 70 hours to complete the image in a time frame of five days.
